About the Event
We will walk along a portion of the West Ashley Greenway that cuts through the salt marsh. As we go, we'll discover the wildlife and plants that make this ecosystem their home. We'll talk about how they live here and the crucial elements that make that possible. Its a fascinating place to explore.
Meet at the west end of the Greenway. As you drive down Mcleod Mill Road you will see a brown sign for the greenway parking. Wear sturdy walking shoes as this part of the Greenway is not paved. We will walk out and back, likely about 3 miles, and be done no later than Noon.
Bring water. And binoculars if you have them.
