Salt Marsh Paddle - Toogoodoo

About the Event
Join us for a very sheltered paddle up the Toogoodoo in the salt marsh. We will enjoy the scenery and see what we can discovery of this vital habitat. Discover up close the variety of life that inhabits these waters and grasses; dolphin, oysters, birds, crabs, and more. Learn the importance of the mud, grass, and keystone species.
Be at the landing ready to launch by 10. We will ride the tide up the creek until we decide to turn around and paddle back to the landing. Probably about 5 - 6 miles.
This paddle is appropriate for novice paddlers, but not first timers. Unfortunately, I do not have kayaks to rent or loan you.
Bring water and snacks and dress for the weather (bring a wind protection layer).
You must wear a life jacket (zipped) at all times on the water.
